The New MARS

MARS
MARS

TRUMPF will introduce the latest version of its successful mobile MARS Surgical Table at this year’s AORN Congress. One key feature of the new MARS is its increased patient weight capacity of 790 lbs. As with TRUMPF's successful TRUMPF TITAN, the MARS will maintain stability at full capacity and at extreme positioning angles.

With a low height adjustment of just 24” off the ground, the MARS, like the TITAN, provides medical team access and comfort in general cases as well as in Bariatric procedures where the patient’s stomach will be higher. TRUMPF offers the lowest-height positioned table on the market that has a built-in X-ray channel that goes over the column.

The MARS come standard with a TRUMPF dual articulating headrest which can be positioned up or down for neck and throat access in various procedures. One key advantage is that the headrest can be articulated to position the neck and head and free the anesthesiologist’s hands for two-handed intubation instead of having one hand occupied manipulating the patient’s head. Another advantage is in Bariatric cases where the headrest position compensates for the large back and the neck of the obese patient.

The MARS come with two part simple leg plates allowing clinicians to independently position the patient’s legs down or up. Optional abducting leg plates provide increased access and positioning choices.
